• Business After Hours—Meet new customers or clients, interact with other members, associates and community leaders, discover local businesses and industries and learn what they have to offer—all in an informal, relaxed setting.
• Annual Banquet—Annual event to celebrate the members of the Chamber and recognize the Business of the Year and Community Service Award recipients.
• Community Development & Involvement—Strengthen Barnwell County’s economic vitality and quality of life by joining other leaders in cultivating economic, business and community development projects.

Marketing Support

• Business Referrals—The Chamber receives many calls per year from consumers seeking information and recommendations on products and services.  Members of the Chamber are the only referrals from staff.
• Advertising—The Chamber is always promoting your business, through word of mouth advertising, in our newsletters, through our events and programs.
• Membership Directory—Listing in the Membership Directory puts your business’ name in front of hundreds of people looking for products and services.  Distribution includes new businesses, new residents, tourists and members.
• Internet Link—Business members will receive a link on the Barnwell County Chamber of Commerce website.
• Ribbon Cuttings—The Chamber is available and willing to assist members with Ribbon Cuttings, Grand Openings, Groundbreaking Ceremonies, etc.  It is our pleasure to help make your event a success!
• Brochure Distribution—The Chamber has space available for members’ brochures to be displayed, and distributes them in information packages or to visitors.
• Information packages—The Chamber distributes information packages to new business, industry, tourism and schools throughout the US.  We also work very closely with local, regional and state economic development and tourism organizations to help promote Barnwell County and our members.
• Relocation package—The Chamber distributes an information package to potential residents interested in the area.
• Business and Industry Directory—The Chamber distributes Directories specifically noting our local industry and produces a categorized Directory with local businesses.

• Staff—available to assist with business counseling and referrals, as well as research and promotion.
• Free Notary Public Service to members
• Phone and Internet access available—for members who need to use our office for business calls or for wireless internet access, we can accommodate you.
• Contact with Government officials—The Chamber keeps you abreast of information through contacts with government offices.
• Statistical Data—The Chamber can provide general statistical data, information relating to the business climate, reference data, and demographic information
• Community and Economic Profiles—In addition to statistical data, the Chamber can provide community and economic profiles to members.
• Newsletter—Chamber News—The Chamber’s newsletter will provide information about meetings, programs and events, as well as news of local business and community activities.  
• Seminars & Workshops—The Chamber will sponsor seminars and workshops throughout the year to provide our members the opportunities to learn more about topics that impact your business.  Please let us know items of interest that you would like to learn more about.
• Legislative updates—During sessions, the Chamber will provide regular updates of interest to our local businesses and industry.
• Representation—The Chamber is your representative on state and national issues affecting business.  Be sure you are communicating with us so we can best represent you.
• Barnwell County Leadership—In conjunction with the Salkehatchie Leadership Institute, a comprehensive program has been designed to identify, develop and motivate new leadership for Barnwell County.  Program objectives are accomplished through a comprehensive selection process, intensive team-building activities, and exposure to local issues, regional resources and various county leaders.  Participants come away with an extensive knowledge and understanding of their community.
